MARIA was born and raised in Astoria, Queens to Greek parents, {OPA!}, has lived on two other continents {in London and Kyoto}, loves to travel with her high school sweetheart, has a thing for knitting small objects, but slowly graduating to sweaters, obsesses over anything kate spade {and shelter/stationery/design blogs & mags}, reads way too many books, collects magnets from all over the world, is mama to her cat Oliver and dog Adele, and will always be seen knitting on the subway.
As long as she isn't lesson planning, and gets a seat.
